Terms & Conditions

// Who we are

Vuther provides free, browser-based cybersecurity and network utilities. Our registered address is:

Vuther

London

United Kingdom

// Using the tools

The tools are provided free of charge, without an account, for lawful diagnostic and educational use. You may use them for personal or commercial purposes.

You agree not to use the tools to attack, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to any system; to submit automated traffic at a volume that degrades the service for others; to attempt to bypass rate limiting; or to use results to harass, stalk or identify an individual. We apply per-IP rate limits and may block traffic that appears abusive.

The SSL and security-header checks read only what any visitor's browser already receives from a public site. They do not scan ports or probe for vulnerabilities. Even so, you remain responsible for ensuring your use complies with the law in your jurisdiction.

// Accuracy and no warranty

The tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that results are accurate, complete or current, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Some limitations are inherent rather than faults. IP geolocation identifies a network, not a person, and city-level accuracy is approximate. The Email Breach Check searches known, publicly catalogued breach datasets — not the entire dark web — so a clean result is not proof that an address was never exposed. Blacklist, DNS and WHOIS results reflect only what third-party sources return at the moment you ask.

// Not professional advice

Nothing on this site constitutes legal, financial or professional security advice. The educational content is general information. For decisions that carry real risk — incident response, compliance, or securing a production system — consult a qualified professional.

// Third-party services

Results depend on third-party providers including IP2Location.io, Cloudflare and Google DNS-over-HTTPS, rdap.org, XposedOrNot, icanhazip.com, ipify.org and CARTO. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy or content. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to the data they receive. See our Privacy Policy for what is shared and why.

// Advertising

We may display third-party advertising, including Google AdSense. Advertisements are served by those networks, and their presence is not an endorsement by us. We are not responsible for the content of advertisements or the sites they link to.

// Intellectual property

The site design, written content and source code are ours unless stated otherwise. You may quote or cite the educational content with attribution and a link. You may not copy the site wholesale or present it as your own.

// Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the tools — including any decision made in reliance on a result. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

// Changes and governing law

We may update these terms as the site evolves; material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
